Many car enthusiasts struggle with this question when it comes to their classic ride.
Should I restore the car or leave it original?
Obviously some of that depends upon what you want out of your car and the type of classic that you have. In the Corvette world, unrestored original Corvette’s demand more money than restored pieces. The thought process is, you can restore a car over and over, but it is only original once.
If you have something more basic like a Cutlass, it might be better to restore the vehicle.
It also comes down to parts availability. What do you do if you have a 1978 Plymouth Volare Super Coupe. There are not too many catalogs for that car.
What do you like? A well restored classic or and untouched original?
